I am a young Spanish lawyer with a great passion for Public International Law, in particular International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Law and International Criminal Law. I strongly believe that through the effective enforcement of these branches of Public International Law, a more just and peaceful world with less human suffering can be achieved.
Action Against Hunger: Advocacy Officer / Legal Advisor Internship

Focused on the Hunger and Conflict project and the support for the consolidation of the Hunger and Conflict coalition.
Drafted legal reports and situation analyses on humanitarian crises.
Contributed to policy proposals and advocacy initiatives.

I worked together with the Letrada de la Administración de la Justicia (In Spain this is the civil servant in a Court in charge of all the procedural matters of the Court) of the Administrative Litigation Division of the Superior Court of Justice of my region.
I started by providing support to my tutor's work but soon I began to perform many of her functions independently writing many of the procedural documents that these civil servants elaborate.
Attendance at the deliberations of the magistrates in which the substantive law of each case was discussed and decisions were made on how to resolve each dispute.
I forged a closer relationship with one of the magistrates. I reunited with him once or twice a week to discuss about the applicable law and how to solve some of his ongoing cases. I also helped him with the drafting of a preliminary reference to the Court of Justice of the European Union.
